Terms of Service

1. Service Description

VAP ("Virtual Agent Pipeline") is an Execution Control Layer for AI Agents. VAP enforces cost control, retry limits, and execution ownership between autonomous agents and external paid APIs.

VAP is not a media generation service. VAP is a policy enforcement layer that controls how agents interact with paid external services.

2. Account and API Access

To use VAP, you must:

• Register an agent via the API
• Maintain a prepaid balance for execution
• Keep your API credentials secure
• Not share API keys across unauthorized systems

You are responsible for all activity under your API credentials.

3. Prepaid Balance System

VAP operates on a prepaid balance model:

• Deposit: Add funds to your agent's balance before execution
• Reserve: Funds are locked before any task starts
• Execute: Task runs with reserved funds
• Burn/Refund: On success, cost is burned. On failure, funds are refunded automatically.

This Reserve-Execute-Burn model ensures you never pay for failed executions.

4. Pricing and Fees

Current execution prices:

• Image generation: $0.18 per image
• Video generation: $1.96 per video
• Music generation: $0.68 per track

Prices are fixed per execution type. You know the exact cost before execution starts. Prices may change with 30 days notice.

5. Refund Policy

Automatic refunds are built into the execution model:

• Failed execution: Full refund to balance
• Partial completion: Proportional refund
• Timeout: Full refund

Balance withdrawals: Contact contact@vapagent.com to request withdrawal of unused balance.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use VAP to:

• Generate illegal, harmful, or abusive content
• Bypass rate limits or tier restrictions
• Reverse engineer the service
• Resell access without authorization
• Interfere with service operation

7. Tier System

VAP enforces execution limits based on tier:

• Tier 0 (Unverified): Validation only, no execution
• Tier 1 (Deposited): Basic execution, $1 per task limit
• Tier 2 (Established): Video/music access, $5 per task limit
• Tier 3 (Trusted): Full access, $50 per task limit

Tier upgrades are automatic based on deposit history and task count.

8. Service Availability

VAP targets 99.9% uptime. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced via status page.

9. Limitation of Liability

VAP is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits or data
• Third-party service failures (Replicate, Suno, etc.)
• Content generated through the service

Maximum liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding 12 months.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for:

• Violation of these terms
• Abuse of the service
• Non-payment or fraudulent activity

You may terminate by ceasing use and requesting balance withdrawal.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms with 30 days notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
